Technical Assistance Management Facility Phase III |

|
TAMF becomes the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG)
Following the success of the Technical Assistance Management Facility (TAMF), the Australian Government (through AusAID) has established the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance facility (AIPEG) to continue and expand the support provided to the Government of Indonesia. This furthers the collaboration between the two Governments since the late 1990s. Norton Rose Australia has been appointed Managing Contractor for the new facility.
The Australian law firm Deacons was the Managing Contractor for TAMF III, when that Facility formally finished on 31 December and was replaced by AIPEG its successor program.
The Australian law firm Deacons joined the Norton Rose Group on 1 January 2010 and changed its name to Norton Rose Australia.
The new facility objective is to strengthen government capacity for policy formulation, coordination and implementation in areas affecting the national budget and macroeconomic performance.
AIPEG will undertake collaborative activities in institutional strengthening and policy advice in the following areas: ▪ Tax administration reform ▪ Debt management ▪ Financial system stability ▪ International trade policy ▪ Economic policy coordination ▪ Public financial management
A new AIPEG website will be established in early 2010. |
